DB&S winner of the Dragons Business Award 2013!

The Dragons Businessclub Christmas Charity Event on 21 December in The Hague was a great success! More than 130 Chinese and Dutch entrepreneurs attended this business event. Several guest speakers gave enthousiastic speeches, like mr Henk Kool, vice-mayor of the City of The Hague, mr Jochum Haakma, chairman of the Dutch Council for Trade and Promotion (NCH) and mr Zhang Jinxiong, acting ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands.

This charity event consisted of a lottery and an auction with a lot of attractive prizes, such as an IPad, a dinner voucher for 10 persons, a luxury watch, a Chinese art painting, two flight tickets Amsterdam – Londen and two business class tickets Amsterdam – Hong Kong provided by Cathay Pacific Airways. The attendees were very generous and the raised amount was around € 7.100,- This was a very good result and exceeded the amount of last year. The proceeds will go entirely to the Mooncake Foundation as charitable purpose. This Dutch initiative supports disabled (orphaned) children with a mental or physical disability or both in Yulin, China.

The winner of the Dragons Business Award 2013 is: DB&S Corporate Finance based in Rotterdam. The purpose of this Award is to stimulate members of the Dragons Businessclub, which is successful in the area of China business in the Netherlands, despite of the current economical climate. Their success also contributes to a strong and varied network of contacts within the Dragons Businessclub and outside.
