Diamond factories have become an indispensable part of tourism in Amsterdam, and Chinese tourists have become the largest spender in purchasing diamonds over the past decade for Gassan Diamonds. Tremendous opportunities in Chinese market

The diamond business of Gassan Diamonds is not only familiar to tourists who visit Amsterdam, but also to many Dragons Businessclub’s members and business contacts. Mr. Haakma shared with guests his interesting stories with diamonds and the importance of Dragons Businessclub for Dutch and Chinese companies in the China business. And he concluded his speech with the best wishes to the success of the event.

Guided diamonds tour

To closely explore the secrets in diamonds polishing skills and quality determination, guests were invited to join an interesting guided tour in the Gassan Diamonds factory. The guided diamonds tour included four parts led by four experts from Gassan. First, the history of Gassan Diamonds and Choices by DL were explained. Next, the expert led guests to the diamond polishing area, showed the steps of diamonds polishing and the craftsmanship of Gassan Diamonds. In the showroom, a diamond expert illustrated the 5Cs: Carat, Colour, Clarity, Cut and Confidence, which define the unique characteristics of diamonds. Finally, to enrich the experience of this guided tour, visits to the goldsmith department and the Rolex boutique made it complete.

The guided diamonds tour was followed by a Chinese dinner buffet and informal networking. Guests enjoyed the delicious Chinese food and the evening was closed with a nice goodie bag from Gassan Diamonds.
