Mr. Atom Zhou, director of China Times’, kicked off the seminar with the 10 year story about the renowned newspaper China Times involving unconditional community support. Mr. Willibrord van Beek, Kings Commissioner (Governor) for the Province of Utrecht, shared interesting insights about Utrecht being classified as the most competitive region in Europe in 2013. The effort put in trade missions, i.e. with Guangdong province, and the attractive economic climate for innovation and international business development created over 1400 jobs in the Utrecht area. To continue, Mr. Liu Chen, general counselor of the Chinese embassy, sincerely congratulated China Times on behalf of the Chinese Embassy. In the past 10 years China Times provided a reliable and recognizable platform to the Chinese community in the Netherlands, which will hopefully achieve even greater heights in the future. Furthermore, Mr. Chang Wong, former chairman of Dragons Businessclub, dynamically presented the highlights of Dragons Businessclub of the past 7 years full of valuable business events. To continue, Mr. Jan Pieter van Seventer, director of Dutch Game Garden presented impressive spin-offs and challenging business opportunities of the gaming industry for China and the Netherlands. And finally, the informal networking accompanied by a magical show celebrating the 10th anniversary of China Times, good Dutch and Chinese food and a Lucky Draw (lottery) with many happy winners, concluded the seminar.
We are grateful for China Times and the Province of Utrecht who enabled this event.

The annual Summer Beach Event will be held in July in Scheveningen, more information will soon be available on this website. Dragons Businessclub members and special guests will receive a personal invitation.
